The vessel registration process is commenced by completing an ‘Application for Registration’ available through a Deputy Registrar (specific to region), who will lead you through the process.

Provisional Registration
-Copy of Application Form
-Copy of Owner company documents
-Copy of Bill of Sale
-Copy of Former Certificate(Register, class and statutory etc.)
Permanent registration
-Original owner Company documents (Good standing, incorporation, certificate, entity extract, certificate of incumbency)
-Original application form and Bill of Sale
-Original Deletion Certificate
-Copy of all CSRs, including the closed CSR from previous Administration
-Copy of all certificates issued by Class, while under Cook Islands Registration
-P&I Policy / Certificate for Third Party (if vessel visiting EU ports); MLC; CLC; Wreck Removal; Bunkers CLC; Hull and Machinery Policy (where applicable)
-Copy of confirmation (letter or email) from Radio Accounting Authority that they will agree to act as Accounting Authority while vessel under a specified Flag.
-Current photo of vessel
